Shure unveils new Performance Gear Wireless®

New systems lets users step up to wireless operation with superior
sonic quality and stage-proven technology

Shure Incorporated officially launched its new Performance Gear Wireless at this year's NAMM Summer Session. Engineered to the same exacting professional standards as Shure's other rugged wireless offerings, Performance Gear systems combine premium sound and rock-solid reliability with an advanced feature set including internal antenna diversity, a wide-range of selectable frequencies, and variable companding.

Shure's patented microprocessor-controlled predictive diversity circuitry serves as the backbone of each Performance Gear system, providing freedom from signal dropouts.
Up to nine compatible Performance Gear systems can be operated simultaneously across multiple bands by selecting from ten tunable frequencies in each unit. Quick, portable, and easy to setup, the systems are optimized to deliver unfailing sonic clarity with audio quality only systems with variable companding ratios can provide.

Internal 1/4-wave antennas are part of every receiver, as is LED channel display and rear panel output capable of facilitating both 1/4-inch and XLR connectors. Prepackaged Performance Gear systems include guitar wireless for use with guitars, basses, and other instruments, as well as a Lavalier system, headset system, or optional combo system offering three different microphone choices. A vocal system comes equipped with a handheld transmitter sporting a PG58 capsule; new headset and Lavalier mics (models PG30 and PG185 respectively) are also available for use with Performance Gear and other Shure wireless systems. Handheld and bodypack transmitter features both include a multi-function LED indicator for power, lockout, mute, and low battery, as well as a multi-position gain switch. A 9V battery is also supplied with each system that provides up to eight hours of continuous use.

Performance Gear Wireless systems operate in a range extending up to 250 feet. Operable bandwidth in Canada is as follows: H7 = 536-548MHz, K7 = 590-602MHz and M7 = 662-674MHz.
